Estate planning is about more than just creating a will—it's about crafting a comprehensive strategy that speaks to your goals and concerns. Without a clear plan, your assets may not be dispensed as you intend, potentially leading to disputes, delays, and unnecessary expenses for your family.
Proper estate planning helps you:

The Smart Law Process

Designed with Busy Families in Mind.

We’re parents, too, so we know how hectic life can get. That’s why we have simplified and streamlined the process.

Step One

Peace of Mind Planning Session

Your Peace of Mind Planning Session is a chance for us to get to know each other, review your goals and concerns, and talk about your options and our packages and fees. Now that you’ve decided to move forward, the next step is to schedule your Estate Plan Design Meeting!

Step Two

Estate Plan Design Meeting

Your second meeting with us is your Estate Plan Design Meeting. We’ll roll up our sleeves and design your Will or Trust and other estate planning documents. Nothing you decide in this meeting is set in stone; you’ll have lots of chances to make changes throughout the process.

Step Three

Document Review

After your Estate Plan Design Meeting, we’ll draft your Trust and other estate planning documents. Once your documents are ready, we’ll hop on another Zoom and go over the documents together and answer your questions, so you feel comfortable signing.

Step Four

Signing Ceremony

We call it a “Signing Ceremony” because this is a big deal! To make things easy and convenient for you, we come to your home to finalize everything. We ensure your documents are properly signed, notarized, and witnessed—meeting all legal formalities. Once complete, your plan is official, and your family and assets are protected. Congratulations!
